Review, Revise, and Modify Estate Plan
The second type of consultation is conducting a comprehensive review of an individual or couple’s estate planning documents that may be outdated or prepared prior to a substantial change in life circumstances. This comprehensive review provides a person or married couple an opportunity to confirm whether the current estate documents meet the objectives, any changes in law, address changes in circumstances or new potential concerns and issues that were not at play when the documents and plan were initially prepared. This type of consultation is a flat fee, but the fee does fluctuate based on the prior documents and complexity of the estate plan. This consult is heavily contingent on the individual or married couple providing all documents requested, completing a comprehensive questionnaire that allows for fact gathering, review of documents, and conducting the video or telephone meeting within a minimal time period from date of engagement.
