This Payment Policy forms part of the Firm’s client engagement agreements and is incorporated by reference into all engagement agreements between AnidjarLaw and its clients.
Payment Policies and Electronic Payment Authorization
Accepted Payment Methods
AnidjarLaw accepts payment by credit card, electronic check (ACH), or paper check. Electronic payments are processed through the Firm’s secure payment processor LawPay, which is integrated with the Firm’s practice management platform MyCase.
Debit card payments are not accepted.
Credit Card Processing Fee
Payments made by credit card are subject to a 3% payment processing fee, which reflects the cost charged to the Firm by the payment processor. This processing fee may appear as a separate charge on the invoice or payment confirmation.
Electronic Check (ACH) Payments
Clients may pay invoices using electronic check (ACH) through the Firm’s secure payment portal.
By providing bank account information and submitting payment through the Firm’s portal, the client authorizes the Firm and its payment processor to debit the designated bank account for payment of legal fees and costs.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that sufficient funds are available for authorized transactions.
Authorization for Electronic Payments
By submitting payment through the Firm’s payment portal or otherwise providing payment information, the client authorizes the Firm and its payment processor to process payments for legal services and costs incurred pursuant to the applicable engagement agreement.
Electronic payment authorization provided through the Firm’s payment portal or engagement agreement constitutes valid authorization for merchant transaction processing and verification purposes.
Payment Disputes
Any questions or concerns regarding invoices or legal fees should be raised directly with the Firm so they can be addressed promptly.
Because payment processors and financial institutions do not have authority to determine the validity of legal fee disputes, clients agree that disputes regarding legal fees should be resolved directly with the Firm and not through credit card chargebacks, ACH reversals, or payment processor dispute procedures.
Chargebacks and Payment Reversals
Initiating a chargeback, ACH reversal, or payment dispute after legal services have been rendered may result in additional administrative and collection costs. The Firm reserves the right to seek reimbursement for any costs incurred in responding to payment disputes, including processing fees and collection expenses.
Payment Security
All electronic payments are processed through secure third-party payment systems. The Firm does not store complete credit card numbers or bank account information and relies on the security protocols of its payment processor.
Questions
Clients with questions regarding invoices or payment methods are encouraged to contact the Firm directly.
